It is not reasonable to believe that Jesus fulfilled these prophecies by chance.

What are the chances of. . . . .

Being a direct male descendent of King David? And;

·         Born in Bethlehem? And;

·         Were visited at birth by wise men from the east? And;

·         Rode into Jerusalem on a Donkey? And;

·         was betrayed for 30 pieces of silver, all of which was later thrown into the house of God, and (just by coincidence) used to buy a potter's field; And

·         Had lots cast for their clothing; And

·         Experienced darkness at noon on the day of their death; And

·         Were pierced by a sword; And

·         Never experienced a broken bone; And

·         And were buried in a rich man's tomb; And

·         On the third day arose from the dead; And

·         Continued His ministry for 40 days; And

·         Then ascended into heaven on a cloud.

We have reduced the possibility of a chance fulfillment of all of the Old Testament prophesies to the level of an absurdity just by using a dozen of them. There are over 300 related prophesies which require fulfillment by the true Messiah.

There is one man, and only one man, of whom all these predicted events are true. His name is Jesus Christ
